Hello and welcome to the 153rd Egham Royal Show.  I am proud, privileged and honoured to have been elected to serve the association as President.  Our previous retiring President Douglas Newton is a hard act to follow; I will strive to continue the good work he has carried out during his presidency and congratulate him on all he achieved.

I have been involved with the show since 1987 starting on the gates until I re-introduced pigs and sheep in 1989 as an exhibition and added competitive classes in 1990.  I concentrated on rare and traditional British breeds and have enjoyed many years of great support from exhibitors who love coming back year after year to soak up the friendly atmosphere, often encouraging others they know to attend as first time exhibitors too.

We have a great show line up for 2011 full of exciting attractions and arena acts as well as our regular sections that form the foundation of the event.  Please take a few minutes to explore the site to see what is planned for 2011.
